History

In 1962, Ed King began working with Husky Energy after recognizing an increased and ongoing demand for fuel services in the Heavy Oil industry. After 40 years in the business, Kings has evolved from a simple fuel delivery company to a complete fuelling and lubricant services company. Today, Kings is seen as the standard of excellence for fast, reliable fuel services, and is recognized across Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Kings was also the recipient of the Lloydminster Chamber of Commerce small business of the year award.

Alberta Association for Community Living (AACL)

Making the community a better place through inclusion and equal opportunity. Kings is a proud supporter of both the Alberta and Lloydminster Association for Community Living. Our staff not only individually takes part in the annual breakfast event, but our organization is a major donor to the event. This allows all the funds raised at the event, go directly to the cause.

Lloydminster Border Kings - Sask West Hockey League

This is a passionate group of individuals, full of (mostly) local residents. These gentlemen get together after work and on weekends to play the great Canadian game.

Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada

When an event that brings the community together as much as Hockey Day does, comes to Lloyd – we have to get involved! We signed up immediately as a Midget Level Sponsor and helped make this event a success. Our staff donated their time to the event individually to help park cars, set up events, and be there when needed by the great people who set up the event too. We are so proud to have taken place in this landmark event that truly brought the community together through volunteerism and the great sport of hockey.
